Our product is made from two sides of Aluminum tape and high-temperature resistant fibreglass fabric tape. It is very soft, so it can wonderfully fit the bottom of the joints.
It doesn’t need to be customized, because the size can be free cut. And it can be split joint to shaped form. Also, it can be used in a wide way to ensure the nice shape of the weld bead.

Fiberglass Welding Backing Tape Using Method:
The fiberglass backing is suitable for structural steel welding, stainless steel welding, and so on.
Suggest weldment root face from 0mm to 1mm; welding gap between 1mm and 3mm.
For Metal Active Gas Welding, the recommended amperage should be from 170A to 190A. So that it can achieve a better welding effect.
The weldment can be removed more easily when it is still warm after welding.
